the space is open.

Circling around the breezes

leave me alone to wonder

and reflect

Waves of sadness

overcome with heavy memories

The weight of the world 

I carry

Pain over washes me

to the point of cracking 

But I don't 

I emerge

Stronger

Healthier

Full of love, gratitude

and Hope

I sit with it

but it is not mine 

to keep

Not who I am

It is you

and your box full of darkness - 

I hand back to you

For I never wanted

Never needed

Never deserved 

Your Pain

My GIFT is to see the heartache

as Surviving 

A way to make love and peace 

a part of my world. 

So today - I remind you 

I am strong

I am blessed

I am safe

I am wrapped in loving kindness

I emerge Thankful

for the darkness that allows 

brilliant LIGHT 

to be my guide.
